Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Scope & General Principles

This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs professional advisory services, technical Python code audits, custom data pipeline development, and any digital materials provided by Alejandro Romero ("PythonOps").

We are dedicated to delivering institutional-grade quality for corporate finance and operational teams across the United States, the United Kingdom, and international enterprise markets. Because our work involves custom software architecture, intellectual property transfer, and specialized engineering labor, we maintain clear, equitable refund and cancellation terms.

2. Digital Products & Python Automation Suites

A. Irrevocable Nature of Digital Downloads

Digital products—including downloadable Python automation suites, packaged script bundles, and custom data processing modules—are considered digital goods delivered immediately upon purchase or download.

• Once digital access, download links, or source files have been delivered, purchases are generally non-refundable due to the intangible and irrevocable nature of digital code.
• Defect Guarantee: If a downloadable digital product contains a reproducible, verified syntax error or formula defect that prevents it from performing according to its documented specifications, we will provide a corrected build within five (5) business days. If we cannot resolve the defect, a 100% refund will be issued promptly.

B. Notice Regarding Statutory Withdrawal Rights (EU & UK Customers)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers typically have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. However, for digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium,you expressly acknowledge and agree that by accessing or downloading digital content immediately, you give your prior consent to begin performance and waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

3. Professional Consulting & Custom Engineering Engagements

Custom Python scripting, scraping pipeline engineering, and enterprise data consulting are governed by written Statements of Work (SOW) or formal service agreements:

• Milestone-Based Billing: Custom engineering projects are structured around defined milestones (e.g., Discovery & Architecture, Sprint Delivery, User Acceptance Testing). Payment for an approved milestone signifies formal acceptance and is non-refundable.
• Client Cancellation Prior to Delivery: If a client terminates an active engagement prior to milestone completion, the client will be billed solely for verified hours worked up to the date of written notice. Any unearned upfront deposit will be refunded within fourteen (14) calendar days.
• Scope Adjustments: Requests for features outside the agreed Statement of Work will be quoted separately and will not invalidate completed milestone payments.

4. Consultation Bookings & Advisory Calls

• Rescheduling: You may reschedule an advisory call with at least twenty-four (24) hours' prior written notice at no additional charge.
• Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to a scheduled session receive a full 100% refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or "no-shows" are subject to a 50% reservation fee to compensate for reserved engineering time.

5. Dispute Resolution & Contact Process
